Today we’re doing the US ARMY FITNESS test, there are 2 versions, the original one is purely bodyweight, so that’s what we’re going to do.
Most pushups in 2 minutes
Most situps in 2 minutes
a 2 mile/3.2km run as fast as possible
If we fail 1 by doing less than required, we fail the test, so also the running
rest time between exercises is max 20 minutes. and a minimum of 10.

    This is no longer the army’s fitness test, the new one is much more challenging to score well on. You should do a video on the new one.

    I can say that they are moving away from the fitness test you did, the new fitness test "ACFT" will be mandatory in march 2022.

    on the sit-ups fingers have to stay interlocked or else you will be disqualified. Also, it helps to throw yourself on the ground and use the momentum to pop back up on the sit-ups.

    I've started training afer 20 months break. 34 pushups, 70 situps and... eh... 20 minutes. I don't feel my arms and legs. I'm 22 yo woman and I work in lab. I was able to do 70 pushups in 2 minutes so I'm really disappointed.

    Mmh... last APFT I took, I scored a 210. I will never have the chance to improve on that, though, because the APFT is no longer authorized to be conducted. It's all ACFT now, for which my highest score is 444... and my unit is conducting another iteration of the test sometime this month

    Fun fact: That is not true. As long as the body remains in a generally straight line the entire time, the test taker lowers their body till their arms are parallel with the ground and when they come up in a straight line with their arms fully extended that counts. Your head does not have to be looking forward. -ARMY APFT NCOIC for the past 2 years.

    why all body channels make same mistake? Acces test is easy, internal test to not be kicked out of the navy , are hard. Try those for once

    Fact- Indian army recruitment requirements is 1.6 km running in 5 minutes - 1.6km ×2 =3.2km in 10 minutes.

    Good job guys, but you both failed. You both failed the sit ups because your fingers were not interlocked and red failed his run because he stopped. Things that can easily be fixed by you two fitness machines.

    Okay, great effort BUT! You have to do one after the other and on the situp you cant side your hips or spread your legs. Knees have to be upright. Remember one exercise after the other not rest! Good luck
