Anyone can take part in this pull-up workout challenge! Here is how it works:
The rules are simple. You perform a certain number of reps of a pull-up dependent upon your starting strength level, your MAX pullups in 1 set.
Here is how to determine your pull-up rep goal:
1-3 pullups in a single max set: You will perform 15 reps in this challenge
4-8 pullups in a single max set: You will perform 30 reps in this challenge
9-14 pullups in a single max set: You will perform 40 reps in this challenge
15 or more pullups in a singe max set: You will perform 50 reps in this challenge.
It's not about how fast, but about how many sets it takes you! Each time you drop from the bar, the set you are performing is considered over.
Your rest time between sets should either be as long as it takes the person you are going head to head with to complete their reps or 30 seconds max if you are performing it by yourself.

    Your twenty eighth and your brothers last pull does not count. You guys jumped off the bar, instead of lowering your body full down before letting go of it! Even so, this is a an awesome challenge. It would be cool to see how much has the progression taken you with it in like... another four to six months

    Can't compare the kind of pullups Jeff did against browney's, i mean try doing perfect pullups like Jeff did and you'll do as many as half your usual reps. Of course i'm not saying it's easy to do 28 pullups with bad form, i couldn't do even 20 of those, but in my opinión it's much more valuable to do less reps with better form and putting the ego aside :)

    Bro great job. But you resting on the bar is cheating. Once you cant perform another pull up you should let the bar go. So technically everytime you stopped to take your rest on the bar should be counted as a set. The way you did it your brother gets more time to rest as well.. so it's not as challenging. Just my opinion, not hating at all. 👍👍

    Yo bro, not to hate, but you completely changed Jeff's challenge: - The max reps are not chosen beforehand, but by how many reps you can do in your first set as you start the challenge - There are no more than 45 seconds rest between each set (total time that Jeff took to do 50 pullups was 7 min), so rest is taken into consideration - Reps must be performed with a pause (briefly) at the bottom - No hanging rest higher than 5 seconds I also did the challenge, I took 6 sets, completed it in 6 min: grlifes.info/number/m2aRqHuyZtmwudc/b-nteo

    Sorry but lifting your neck above a bar does not count as a rep. Cheat reps should not count. Try re doing this challenge with out cheat repping every movement. Try doing this challenge with perfect form and without doing bro sets. Guys it's a tough challenge but your form is so poor.

    You guys look very strong, however you always cut the scene, between sets. Jeff did basically 0 rest, only when he was swapping on the bar with Jesse, which makes the exercise 10 times harder on each following set. That is really questionable in this video.
